Crisis Specialist

The Crisis Specialist will answer incoming Suicide & Crisis Lifeline Calls, using guidelines, and compassionately and professionally provide an average of five services to each caller: 1) assess caller needs; 2) provide supportive advocacy and peer support; 3) provide crisis intervention as needed; 4) offer information and appropriate referrals to community services using warm handoffs when possible and 5) assist with safety planning and brainstorming available options.
